Aerialtronics, a manufacturer of high performance multirotor aerial platforms, announced today that it has selected Robotic Skies as its completion and maintenance provider for its line of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Under the partnership, the two companies will collaborate to build a custom maintenance program for the Aerialtronics product line that will be implemented at more than 80 Robotic Skies field Service Centers located around the world. In addition, Robotic Skies will provide completion and custom configuration services for Aerialtronics systems sold in North America.
In 2014 Aerialtronics launched its third generation system, the Altura Zenith. By collecting aerial data and processing it into valuable information the Zenith platform gives clients insights into making smart business decisions. The Zenith is designed as an advanced information-collecting platform. It’s a high performance flying server that records, processes and transmits data back to the cloud where analytics turn it into information.
Aerialtronics’ flagship product, the Zenith, sets a precedent for the design of unmanned aircraft systems by combining state of the art technology with remarkably flat, compact and lightweight design. Starting from scratch enabled the generation of a radically novel idea: developing a multirotor aircraft system that can meet a wide variety of application requirements without compromising on design.
“Our Altura Zenith platforms are extremely reliable and durable, and are already being used in a wide range of mission profiles around the world,” said Jeremy Wigmore, CEO of Aerialtronics. “Robotic Skies is comprised of service technicians who have in-depth experience maintaining high performance, manned aircraft. Having a proven and established network of Service Centers in the US was important for Aerialtronics and ultimately our partnership with Robotic Skies assures that our UAS customers’ field maintenance requirements will be efficiently, consistently and safely managed at a global level. We are very excited by this development.”
“The commercial-grade Aerialtronics platforms are a natural fit for our Service Center network,” said Brad Hayden, President and CEO of Robotic Skies. “Their mission capabilities will be greatly enhanced by the completion services and field maintenance programs provided by Robotic Skies, and we look forward to supporting their products around the world through our expanding Service Center network.”
