Robotic Skies CEO to Moderate NBAA UAS Panel

Seminar shows flight departments how to get down to business with UAS operations

“The Nuts and Bolts of Operating a Corporate UAS Operation” will be presented as an operations forum at NBAA. This forum moves the discussion of UAS from the theoretical to the practical and provides information for how flight departments either initiate UAS operations or blend UAS operations into an existing flight department.

The panel is slated for Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Room S330 C/D in the Orange County Convention Center.

Moderated for the third consecutive year by Robotic Skies President & CEO Brad Hayden, the forum participants will discuss the top-level “nuts and bolts” of how to implement UAS in business, including calculating and demonstrating return on investment. Corporate flight departments will be shown how to establish a UAS flight department, or strategies to integrate UAS into their current company infrastructure, including regulatory, liability and insurance considerations.

Hayden will moderate a panel of UAS experts including Donald Bernier, FirstEnergy Corp.; Kevin Gould, Hawk Aerial; Todd Graetz, BNSF; and Richard Marcus, Era Helicopters.

“In this seminar, we roll up our sleeves to provide real-world practices for corporate flight departments,” says Hayden. “NBAA has played a leadership position in guiding corporate flight departments to embrace the potential that UAS offer. This year, instead of talking theoretically about UAS, we are showing how flight departments are actually implementing unmanned programs.”
